In the 2008 Spring Fashion edition of New York, Lohan re-created Marilyn Monroe’s final photo shoot, including partial nudity. Her mother said doing the photo shoot was an “honor,” something that I agree with. This is an artistic bent I didn’t really expect to see from Lindsay Lohan, something artistic and American, that restore some of her tarnished reputation and entrench her more firmly in the public’s mind as a public idol.
